What: Contestant on the Japanese Game Show, Sasuke When: May 2008 Levi "SkyNative" Meeuwenberg was not only one of the only Americans to make it to stage 3, but he was the last man standing in the Spring 2008 Ninja Warrior competition! This is the 2nd time G4 has sent competitors over to Japan to attempt the "world's toughest obstacle course" which only two people out of 2000 have ever completed. Levi was one of the 3 attendees this year from G4 including fellow freerunner, Brian "NoSole" Orosco. Levi passed the 2nd stage with ease leaving behind the other two competitors to make it that far, incuding famed master, Nagano. However, despite advice from Nagano and the all-stars, he lost his hold in the middle of the 3rd stage and joined the others in the murky waters. Levi's success can definitely be linked to his amazing Freerunning skills. |

Who : Tyson, Nomad, Sam, Demon, Skipper, Tony, M2What : Las Vegas Pharmaceutical Convention When : March 2008 Spending 5 days in Las Vegas, the team choreographed then performed a large performance for a pharmaceutical company. Long hours, hard work, lots of water, and multiple epsom salt baths resulted in three incredibly energetic two-minute sections in front of a 2000+ crowd. The stage consisted of a massive frame of the company's logo, as well as ten modular boxes that allowed the set to dynamically change for each section; including a configuration deemed "the Tyson Titan." Unfortunately on one of the last rehearsal days Tony sprained his knee badly, and Mark had to fill in to save the day as well as the symmetry of the performance! In the end, we absolutely slammed the performance with great feedback from the crowd, and finally got to see sunlight." |

Who: Amanda , Demon , Ando , M2 , Skipper , Tyson , Frosti , SkyNative, Leonn , WillGrind , Nomad, Zujitsu, Cloud, and Haack What: 2008 K-Swiss Freerunning Tour When: March/April 2008 In an effort to show their new found interest in parkour and freerunning, as well as their newly designed line of freerunning specific footwear, K-Swiss launched the 2008 K-Swiss Freerunning College Tour.
The tour covered the entire United States, kicking off in San Francisco then heading through Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Miami, New York City, and finally wrapping up in Chicago. The tour got an even bigger boost when the NYC venue was released as being Times Square!
The team battled rough weather conditions, even so far as having M2, Tyson, Demon, and Skipper drive all the way from Vegas to Dallas(over 20 hours!) just to perform the moment they stepped out of the truck, when their flight got cancelled. But the tour was huge success getting thousands of people educated and interested in parkour and freerunning and trying out the new shoes. M2, Skynative and Frosti also were called upon to film a short introductory tutorial DVD to be handed out to anyone who tried on shoes. Overall it was a lot of fun and got a lot of people excited about parkour and freerunning and the new K-Swiss shoes! |

What: Performance during Cisco Partner Summit When: April 2008
Amanda , Demon , Disciple , M2 , Skipper , Tyson , Frosti , and SkyNative were asked to work for the world renowned company, Cisco in Hawaii. Huge thanks to Cisco and to Invision for having us perform at this event. The stage set looked amazing; a 3-D playground made of steel and plexiglass, the "Death Star" in the middle was over 16 feet tall! Rehearsal times was cramped, but the crew pulled it off like true professionals. Unfortunately, on the last dress rehearsal run of the night, Frosti sprained his foot. After a check up at the hospital he was in an aircast and will have to lay off it for a few weeks, but recovery should be quick and the damage is not as bad as it might have been. Frosti appears in all the pics as these are from the rehearsals - for the performance M2 had the tall task of filling Frosti' shoes - of course Frosti is an 11 1/2 and M2 just a 10 - so the part had to be tamed down a lot, but it came out OK in the end. To add to the carnage, Tyson whacked his head on a bar the next day - 3 stitches, but still ran that afternoon's finale performance! Everyone did an awesome job during the actual performance, the crowd went NUTS when Skipper and Levi did huge 8' frontflips onto the stage! Check out the photos in the gallery .
