Praise for The Tribe

"Mark was really indispensable on shoot day, lending valuable advice on nearly every aspect of the production. His talent and experience are what made things go smoothly. His personality and passion are what kept the cast and crew doing their best." - Patrick Markesoano (HBO Bourne Shoot)

Combining both experience and skill with a desire to lead, the Tribe has stood since its formation, as the driving force behind parkour and freerunning in America and around the world.

The Tribe extends far beyond the category of a team. The Tribe is an idea, the idea that a group of talented people can become a single extraordinary entity.  The Tribe has experience in film, photography, television, commercial, and live performances, as well as offering workshops and classes for both parkour and fitness. Above all, Tribe members are dedicated to their individual training and supporting their local communities.

World Boxing Championships
Ando , Frosti , and Levi of the Tribe along with local freerunners Cloud and Sam recently performed at the opening ceremony of the 2007 World Boxing Championships in Chicago. It was a great honor to participate in this event due to its significance in Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics. With Mark Toorock coreographing and coordinating much of the parkour performance, state of the art set design was also utilized by Dexter Bullard in which a steel disc rotated as obstacles were placed for the freerunners to move over. The show lasted 20 minutes with a full variety of dancers, singers, musicians and special guests Muhammed Ali and Mayor Daley of Chicago.
