Mercedes Benz C-Class Car Launch

Mercedes
Where: Hong Kong and Macau

What: Three freerunning performances for Mercedes Benz 's C-Class car launch

Mercedes Benz made the call to bring in two freerunners to help launch their new C-Class cars in Hong Kong and Macau. Originally they only wanted Michael 'Frosti' Zernow and Skynative, but after seeing the two together with Tyson , they jumped at the chance to use all three.

After training for a week at Primal Fitness , the trio headed off to Hong Kong for two more weeks of performances and preparation. The first two shows went off as planned, wowing the 1,100 people in attendance, but then the team found out they would have to make up a whole new three minute routine on a brand new set for an event in Macau. With just a few days preparation they stepped up to the challenge and put together another incredibly professional show again, with many liking the last show even more that the first two!

K-Swiss Freerunning Tour

What: K-Swiss Freerunning Tour

In an effort to show their new found interest in parkour and freerunning, as well as their newly designed line of freerunning specific footwear, K-Swiss launched the K-Swiss Freerunning College Tour.

The tour covered the entire United States, kicking off in San Francisco then heading through Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Miami, New York City, and finally wrapping up in Chicago. The tour got an even bigger boost when the NYC venue was released as being Times Square!

The team battled rough weather conditions, even so far as having M2, Tyson, Demon, and Skipper drive all the way from Vegas to Dallas(over 20 hours!) just to perform the moment they stepped out of the truck, when their flight got cancelled. But the tour was huge success getting thousands of people educated and interested in parkour and freerunning and trying out the new shoes. M2, Skynative and Frosti also were called upon to film a short introductory tutorial DVD to be handed out to anyone who tried on shoes. Overall it was a lot of fun and got a lot of people excited about parkour and freerunning and the new K-Swiss shoes!

Men's Health Urbanathalon Sponsored by Jeep

What: Live Performances for Jeep at the Men's Health Urbanathalon

Where: Chicago, IL

The Tribe jumped at the chance to put on a performance at the Urbanathalon as it is one of the baddest races out there featuring 9 miles of hopping taxis, buses, Jeeps, police barricades, and even a 459 stair climb at Soldier Field. Arriving in Grant Park the team battled rain and slippery grass alongside the infamous Chicago winds to assemble the performance set, which featured a custom built, lifted, stripped, and reinforced Jeep, and prepared for an epic performance featuring an 10 person team. Tribe members Travis Graves, Jereme Sanders, and Frosti were joined by APK Sponsored athletes Natalie Strasser, Cody Robinson, Jimmy Davidson, Tony Cephas, and Tron Williams, along with friends Vinnie Coryell and Levi Meeuwenberg. With Mark Toorock and Knox heading up the choreography the team put on a rocking performance and wowed the crowds of over 5,000 participants and nearly double that in spectators for the event.
