Who: Ando, Michael 'Frosti' Zernow, and Levi What: An opening ceremony performance for the 2007 World Boxing Championships. Ando, Levi, and Michael 'Frosti' Zernow of the Tribe along with local freerunners Cloud and Sam recently performed at the opening ceremony of the 2007 World Boxing Championships in Chicago. It was a great honor to participate in this event due to its significance in Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics. With Mark Toorock coreographing and coordinating much of the parkour performance, state of the art set design was also utilized by Dexter Bullard in which a steel disc rotated as obstacles were placed for the freerunners to move over. The show lasted 20 minutes with a full variety of dancers, singers, musicians and special guests Muhammed Ali and Mayor Daley of Chicago. |
