What: Performance during Cisco Partner Summit

Where: Hawaii

Amanda , Ryan 'Demon' Ford , Disciple , Mark 'M2' Toorock , Billy 'Skipper' Hughes , Tyson , Michael 'Frosti' Zernow, and SkyNative were asked to work for the world renowned company, Cisco in Hawaii. Huge thanks to Cisco and to Invision for having us perform at this event. The stage set looked amazing; a 3-D playground made of steel and plexiglass, the "Death Star" in the middle was over 16 feet tall! Rehearsal times was cramped, but the crew pulled it off like true professionals. Unfortunately, on the last dress rehearsal run of the night, Frosti sprained his foot. After a check up at the hospital he was in an aircast and will have to lay off it for a few weeks, but recovery should be quick and the damage is not as bad as it might have been. Frosti appears in all the pics as these are from the rehearsals - for the performance M2 had the tall task of filling Frosti' shoes - of course Frosti is an 11 1/2 and M2 just a 10 - so the part had to be tamed down a lot, but it came out OK in the end. To add to the carnage, Tyson whacked his head on a bar the next day - 3 stitches, but still ran that afternoon's finale performance! Everyone did an awesome job during the actual performance, the crowd went NUTS when Skipper and Levi did huge 8' frontflips onto the stage! Check out the photos in the gallery . What: Performance and Interviews for Australian Press, and filming for FuelTV

When: February 2008

Levi and Michael 'Frosti' Zernow joined Daniel Ilabaca from the UK and Aussie locals Rhys James and Shaun Wood in Sydney, Australia for two days of filming for a FuelTv feature and footage to be used my local press. They then performed an excellent 5 minute parkour performance for the press followed up by interviews and photos. While there, they also got to meet and train with the strong local parkour scene.

New Yorker Festival Demonstration

What: A parkour demonstration featuring David Belle along with several Tribe members at the New Yorker Festival in front of the Javits Convention Center.

The New Yorker is a magazine that has been published since 1925. Every year they host a festival that brings together a wide variety of people, events, and shows to New York City. This year they brought over David Belle, the founder of parkour, for an interview and short demonstration. Tribe members Frosti, LeoNn, and Willgrind actively participated alongside Belle in front of a large audience at the Javits Convention Center. They put on a great display of parkour's artistic nature and delievered a few jaw-dropping moments for the crowd.

World Boxing Championships

What: An opening ceremony performance for the 2007 World Boxing Championships.

Ando, Levi, and Michael 'Frosti' Zernow of the Tribe along with local freerunners Cloud and Sam recently performed at the opening ceremony of the 2007 World Boxing Championships in Chicago. It was a great honor to participate in this event due to its significance in Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics. With Mark Toorock coreographing and coordinating much of the parkour performance, state of the art set design was also utilized by Dexter Bullard in which a steel disc rotated as obstacles were placed for the freerunners to move over. The show lasted 20 minutes with a full variety of dancers, singers, musicians and special guests Muhammed Ali and Mayor Daley of Chicago.

Sneaker Pimps Event

What: A freerunning demonstration at the Sneaker Pimps event at Crash Mansion Night Club sponsored by K-Swiss, Hot Tamales, and Heavy.com.

Sneaker Pimps is an event that tours around the country exposing the sneaker culture of customizing shoes. The folks at Heavy.com decided to bring in a few performers from their Circus of Awesome as well as Levi for a brief freerunning demonstration through the club during their segment. Despite the limitations of the venue and crowd, Levi pulled off a slick run vaulting railings, climbing up to the balconies, and flipping off of the various features in the club.
